Cars in German Town Discovered Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement Confirm

Roughly fifty automobiles have been smeared with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to police.

Vehicles, building surfaces and mailboxes were defaced, in some cases with swastikas, they announced in a statement.

Police say they were alerted in the late hours on Wednesday night, when a individual noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been covered with a red-colored substance.

The liquid had been placed in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they reported.

Officers then located many other smeared vehicles and residential walls in the surrounding area.

Swastikas are banned in Germany under legislation banning the public display of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials report initial examinations suggest the liquid was likely human blood.

"At present there remains no clue as to where it came from; investigators are presently not informed of any injuries in connection with the occurrence," they commented.

Local authorities stated they were working "to resolve the mystery" and have appealed to the community for tips.

An important representative said the vandalism left him speechless and needed to be resolved promptly.

"This incident affects the center of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the right-wing violent incident half a decade ago," he posted on online, mentioning the killing of nine victims by a assailant aiming at residents of foreign heritage in five years prior.
